If a card has 15 failed transactions in a row, it will be deleted. This often happens with subscriptions like Netflix or other recurring charges when there isnât enough money on the card.
If a card records 29 failed transactions in one month, even if theyâre not consecutive, it can also be deleted.
If thereâs an unusually high number of failed attempts overall, Noupia may warn you that the card is at risk of deletion. This is common when users donât leave a small buffer for fees or authorization holds.
Other possible reasons include:
Suspected fraud or misuse of the card, or breaking Noupiaâs terms.
Failure to submit requested verification documents (ID or other checks).
Negative balance, especially if failed-transaction fees arenât cleared.
Manual deletion by the user from the app.
Account suspension or closure, which automatically affects all linked cards.
1. manually deleted it for privacy or control.

4. suspected fraud and deleted it as a precaution.
5. The card expired.
6. The card was flagged for suspicious or unauthorized activity.
7. The linked bank account or main card was closed or frozen.
8. The provider updated its system or policy, removing old virtual cards.
9. The card was reported lost or compromised.
10. violation on the card issuerâs terms of service.
11. It was a single-use or limited-time virtual card.
12. Spending limit was reached and the card auto-deleted.
13. Subscription linked to the card was cancelled.
14. App or system glitch caused accidental deletion.
15. Account inactivity triggered automatic card removal.
